IT'S fairly common to get a tattoo tribute to someone you love when you're married, or in a long-term relationship.
But one woman took things a step further - by getting an inking tribute to the man she was sleeping with, who just so happened to be her daughter's husband.
Kat, from Idaho in the U.S., has been sharing videos explaining the shocking story on her TikTok page, with followers even saying it's so unbelievable that Netflix should turn it into a TV series.
In a recent clip, she opened up about how her younger brother reacted when he learned about his mum's affair with his brother-in-law.
And while his reaction ended up being anger, over the fact he was told by their sister and not Kat herself, Kat thinks he probably already knew about the affair before then - but just chose not to tell her.
"So I actually haven't spoken to my brother since before I found out about my husband and mother's affair," she explained.

"He again had shown up unexpectedly to my house, three or four weeks before I found out about the affair, again to see my mum because she was always at my house ,and he had shown up to be like, 'Oh mum, check it out, I got a new tattoo this morning'.
"And now that I have more information that I know - that whole situation was f**king absurd.
"Because I ended up finding out that the day that my brother got this tattoo that he came and showed my mum - the same day, at the same time, my mother got a tattoo for my husband.
"And my brother got his tattoo at the same place, at the same time, while my mother simultaneously was getting her tattoo at the same place at the same time and they were together.

"So my mum already knew about the tattoo that he then came over to show her.
"How does that make sense?"
And people in the comments section agreed that Kat seemed to be right about her assessment that her brother knew about the affair before her.
"He knew about what your mother was doing and he didn't care," one wrote.
"He got mad because you didn't come to him first because he wanted to be a d**k about it.
"Probably even say he knew it and blame you."
"That's totally what I think too!" Kat replied.
"Just a theory but do you think he knew?" another mused.
"That's why he turned up to show his tattoo to make it seem like he wasn't with her when she got hers."
"That's the only thing I can think of! Nothing else makes sense!" Kat responded.
And a third commented: "So your mom and brother were mocking you IN YOUR HOME."
"So he knew that she had an affair with your husband.. at least 4 weeks before you knew," someone else wrote.
In a previous video, Kat - who shares twin daughters with her ex - revealed she'd found out about the affair in February 2022.
She'd called her husband at 9.30pm one night to find out when he would be home from his shift as a food delivery driver.
She noted that his car was in a different area to the one he claimed he worked in when she spoke to him, and "all of a sudden, I heard a woman’s voice," she said.
She began challenging her husband on who he was with but he hung up the phone.
As she'd already had suspicions about her mother and husband's relationship due to the amount of time her mum, had been spending at her house, Kat had a "gut feeling" that it was her.
And that was confirmed when she called her sister to see if their mum was at home, only to find out that her husband had popped round earlier that night to pick up their mum but had begged her not to say anything.
After discovering the truth, she left the home straight away with her children.
The affair was short-lived, and her mum returned to Kat's dad after calling it off.
Her dad took her mum back, but Kat's relationship with her own husband was unrepairable.
"Please tell me you don't talk to your mum," someone else commented on the video.
To which Kat replied: "I haven't in almost 2 years!"
"But how’s your emotions after your husband and mother hooked up? You seem okay with it," another asked.
"It's been almost 2 years since this all happened so I've had some time to heal," Kat replied.
"I choose to not cry on camera if I can control it."
