Glorious Goodwood 2018: Guineas runner-up Tip Two Win aims to make his youth count in Lennox Stakes

ROGER TEAL will be chasing big-race success with the likeable Tip Two Win in the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood on Tuesday.

The three-year-old is the youngest contender in a final field of 12 for the Group 2 contest.

A second in the 2,000 Guineas would be good enough to win most renewals of the race, but Tip Two Win needs to bounce back from an underwhelming performance in the St James's Palace Stakes.

The son of Dark Angel finished fourth that day behind Without Parole, and trainer Teal is hoping the combination of a drop back in tip and receipt of weight will work the oracle.

Among those lining up against the dual Listed-winner will be progressive sprinter Sir Dancealot.

David Elsworth's colt finished fourth in the July Cup last time out and drops back in grade for the Goodwood contest.

The former hasn't won since October last year, but ran a very good race in the Summer Mile last time and the drop in trip looks a good move.

Here Comes When will attempt to follow up last year's win in the Group 1 Sussex Stakes for trainer Andrew Balding, who also fields Group 2 victor Donjuan Triumphant.
