A DOCTOR has found himself brutally slammed after making his client appear ''possessed'' thanks to an eye colour-changing surgery.
What if you could permanently change your eye colour without having to wear contact lenses?

Well, according to one French clinic, New Vision, that's possible thanks to a unique called keratopigmentation.
As explained by experts at Clinica Sancho, this is usually achieved by means of a laser, which makes a small incision in the eyeball to create a sheet in the corneal tissue, a sheet that's then filled with the pigments or dyes according to the patient's wishes.
Ophthalmological centers in Europe have developed a laser that manages to lighten the chromaticism of human eyes on a permanent basis, going from brown to shades of blue or green - however, the results will vary from person to person depending on genetics.
But whilst it appears to be a growing trend in the beauty world, it seems that not everyone will be jumping on the bandwagon any time soon.

''She looks possessed,'' is how horrified social media users described a now-viral transformation video shared by the France-based clinic on TikTok.
The clip, which has racked up over a whopping 3.3million views in just one day, sees a once brown-eyed woman in tears as she admires her new piercing blue eyes.
All chuffed with the results, the woman then checks out her reflection and shows off the bright eyes to a man believed to be the doctor behind the surgery.
Unfortunately, as pleased with the results as she may be, the reaction on the platform was anything but positive, as thousands raced to comments in sheer horror.

One, for instance, thought she looked like a vampire and belonged in a movie.
''Twilight chapter 6.''
Another agreed, adding: ''She looked so much prettier and younger with brown eyes.''
Someone else chimed in: ''They just look like contacts.''
''No, no, no, no, millions no,'' a fourth was mortified.
But although there were a few comments left by some intrigued by the surgery, it's worth noting that it does come with risks, experts have warned.
The team at Clinica Sancho explained that as ''this is a procedure that involves injecting ink into the cornea of the eye, it is clear that one of the main dangers is eye infection, which can lead to pain, swelling, blurred vision, and even permanent loss of vision''.
In addition, it can trigger other eye diseases, such as chronic dry eye, sensitivity to light, allergic reactions, cataracts, glaucoma, loss of vision - and even blindness.
Instead, to avoid any risks, it's best to use coloured lenses, which are a much safer option - and can even look more natural, the pros added.

The French clinic, which posts under the username @new_color_flaak, regularly shares Before and After makeover videos on the platform.
Their videos mainly see patients going from darker eyes to bright green and piercing blue shades.
