How tall is Donald Trump and what is 75 inches in feet? Height and length conversion explained

FACTS and figures about Donald Trump's health were released in January 2018 after concerns for the President were raised.

His doctor returned a positive report on the 45th President's wellbeing, with one slight concern being the issue of his weight - but how tall is he and what's his BMI?

How tall is Donald Trump?

President Donald Trump is 75 inches tall, or 6ft 3 inches.

He is a taller than average man, although is still short of the world's tallest man who was 8ft 11 inches.

Trump is about half the height of an average African elephant and four inches short of the average basketball player's height.

That makes him 9 inches taller than Kim Jong-un who stands at 66.5 inches or 5ft 5".

Trump is too heavy for his height, the test found, and Dr Ronny Jackson said the US President, who weighs 17 stone, needs to lose 10 to 15 pounds over the next year.

The 71-year-old's body mass index (BMI) of 29.9 puts him in the overweight category - and on the brink of obese - for his height at 6ft 3in.

He is known to enjoy high-fat foods like fried chicken, hamburgers and steak - and while he plays golf, he does not have a daily exercise routine.

What measuring system do we use in the UK?

We use a feet and inches system in the UK - which is fairly universal worldwide.

One inch is 0.083 of a foot.

One foot is 12 inches.

For length measurements, the UK uses three feet for a yard, and 1,760 yards as a mile.

What did the doctor say about Trump's health?

The doctor said he had "absolutely no concerns", adding: "He's very sharp. He's very articulate when he speaks to me.

"I've never known him to repeat himself when he's around me. I found no reason whatsoever to think the president has any issues whatsoever with his thought process."

The tests came as the controversial best-seller "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" raised questions about his mental fitness for the job.

Dr Jackson, who speaks with Trump a few times a day and travels with him, said he did not think the US president needed cognitive testing based on medical guidelines - but added the 30-question Montreal Cognitive Assessment at Trump's request.
